Who do I need to talk to any ideas?
Right this is a hard one so please read carefully. I am a young full time single mother of an 18 month old baby and i was offered a house when i had my baby as i had been on the housing list for years. As it was the first place i was offered i took it straight away.as i never knew when the next offer would be along.
The problem been is i live 6 doors away from a nighclub i am on hte main road in the centre of my town. I knew this hen i moved in yes but i never knew to what extent the noise is.
It is just getting worse now with the smoking ban more people are on the streets and the noise from the drunken yobs it is just getting to be unbearable.
I have just watched a huge fight unfold out of my window it took over 25 minutes for the police to arrive and the noise it was like been at a football match this is no good for me or my daughter
.I need help to reduce the noise or get more police officers or something in the area, i am on the list to move but this can take ages.

I wish there was a good answer for you, but unfortunately there probably isn't. The best you can do is contact you local city government and tell them exactly what is happening. Ask one of the city officials to spend a Friday or Saturday evening at your place and perhaps they will understand what you're telling them. Only city officials can put more policeman on duty there. I'm sorry you're in such a difficult situation, but keep after the housing people. Maybe something different will open up soon.
