Who do I need to talk to any ideas?
Right this is a hard one so please read carefully. I am a young full time single mother of an 18 month old baby and i was offered a house when i had my baby as i had been on the housing list for years. As it was the first place i was offered i took it straight away.as i never knew when the next offer would be along.
The problem been is i live 6 doors away from a nighclub i am on hte main road in the centre of my town. I knew this hen i moved in yes but i never knew to what extent the noise is.
It is just getting worse now with the smoking ban more people are on the streets and the noise from the drunken yobs it is just getting to be unbearable.
I have just watched a huge fight unfold out of my window it took over 25 minutes for the police to arrive and the noise it was like been at a football match this is no good for me or my daughter
.any ideas on what to do or where to get help about the noise???.

Council ordinance against loitering, club owners responsibility to move them along, post signs, get a bouncer if necessary, disturbing the peace. Remain anonymous. Your other neighbors don't mind? Don't look guilty when you peer at the people from behind your drape. Council lets must have some responsibility to find you suitable housing, list or none.
Yeah, install sprinklers on your lawn that run at night. If they "accidentally" spray onto the sidewalk a little, it won't be such a comfortable place to stand.
