Possible to get driving record cleared ?

My brother has 4 or 5 speeding tickets and an accident on his driving record. Now his insurance is off the charts. Is it possible to get these cleared by getting a lawyer, and if so about how much does it cost?

Answer:
there should be a safe drivers school around you some where. call the DMV and ask them where they are... my husband had 2 speeding tickets and he took that class and now there are no records of him ever speeding.. but after you brother gets rid of the speeding tickets he has tell him to be safe any time he gets to drive :) have fun!! and good luck

ps yes the safe drivers school costs$ unless its court ordered but not as much as paying that high price for insurance

No. He should have bargained the tickets down in court, possibly with a lawyer at that time. I can't imagine there is much that can be done now except keep his record clean from now on.
Nope. He has to wait for them to clear themselves. My insurance company goes back 3 years. It's all his fault and I don't feel sorry for him. After 1 or 2 tickets maybe he should have slowed down. His stupidity makes him deserving of the high insurance rates.
The only way to have your insurance lowered it to complete (at your cost) specialized safe driving courses or to maintain a clean driving record for a number of years. Also the choice of vehicle will also impact cost.

If you brother wishes to get a more affordable rate he should invest in a sensible station wagon and some driving lessons.
