Does the State of Florida required employers to pay overtime to there employees if they are Salary Employees?

I have heard the the state requires some kind of compensation for working more than 40 hours even if your a salary employee. Is this ture. Thanks for your help.

Answer:
yes it is. go get that cheese bro.

No it is not true. Salaried employees get to work all the overtime they want for free.

Florida salaried employee
no ..Salaried, means you contracted to do the job for x amount of dollars. and that includes overtime. sorry.
depends what you do. if you get paid a salary or not is irrelevant the test is what you do.
Sorry.salaried employees do not get paid overtime.
That question doen't even make sense. If you're salaried you're being paid a flat rate for all the work you do, no matter how many hours are involved. It's not possible to have overtime if you're salaried. Should have stayed hourly...
