If someone you knew who had been banned for drink driving was using someone car?

with their permission....

What would you do?

Answers:
I'd inform the Police (but then I would say that!), they can then keep their eyes open for the offender and hopefully catch them in the act of driving.

Bear in mind that a disqualified driver is also uninsured and therefore a danger to other road users.

Nothing it is not my business.
grass em up in a heartbeat..
Well I wouldn't be a snake in the grass!
Probably nothing, unless he was still drink driving. Not sure really.
Take the keys away, and slap them upside the head. They need to be in rehab, id even help pay for it if I had to get them the help they needed.

How would someone feel if that person then killed some child while driving while intoxicated?
would not tell a word
nothing not my business depends on how close you are if you feel that concerned inform the person whose car it is.
Mind my own buisness.
probably nothing unless it was my horrible ex who has been and probably still is banned for drink driving then i would grass him up.
shop the sh!t they have no insurance and no licence, drink driving kills, the tosser should be punished as should the dozy bint who lets them use their car, are they prepared to let this person smash it up and then find out the insurance company won't pay out ?
they will both get endorsements if person gets caught, more serious charges for person with revoked license though, poss prison.
shop both of them
report them
dob them both in asap - who knows what could happen, could be your child gets killed/maimed etc
Report them both to the police without any hesitation. This person was not banned from driving on a whim you know...and the fool giving permission to use his car...well, insurance will be void and he is breaking the law too.
Well if you are aware of it, that means that you are technically abetting the "crime". I would talk to them (if you know them well enough) and remind them of what has happened to Paris Hilton and a few of her mates recently...

Serves them right when they do get caught though. It's better that you say something before they get caught.
It depends - are they still banned? Does the owner know? Are they still drink driving? If the owner doesn't know tell them NOW. If they are still banned or especially if they are drinking and driving I would inform the police, even if it involved waiting till I knew when they could be actually caught in the act. I don't believe in turning a blind eye, I have a 2 year old and I see too many reports of morons like this getting a slap on the wrist for murdering kids when behind the wheel. Ooh I can't believe I'm angry now!
Sad to read most of the replies of do nothing, mind my own business. that is the problem with society everyone minds their own business until its their problem. That is why society stinks. SHOP HIM/HER
i would smash his/her head off!!

DON'T (NEVER) DRINK N DRIVE
Rally the support of the local community get a protest going outside the house/houses inform local media ,radio and newspapers dismantle the car and owner inform the police organise a vigilante murder squad or mind my own business
if the person was still banned for drink driving, I would shop both of them straight away! Imagine how you would feel if somebody was knocked down by the drink driver and you could have stopped it by telling the police.
Assuming that you want to remain anonymous then contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. They will pass this info on to your local force or the force where the offender is driving.

Officers will subsequently be tasked with catching him driving.

Hope this helps
i could live with grassing them up. couldn't live knowing i'd seen it...said nothing and someone got killed because of them. i'd definately grass on em i'm afraid
