Is it possible to get into trouble with an attorney online?
I bought a website and I bought a pre-made script for it. I wanted to add a new feature so my friend told me about this guy who is a programmer. So when I contacted him, he said he charged $10per/hr. He added the features that I wanted in like 2 weeks. We had several emails to each other in those 2 weeks while he was fixing and adding new stuff to my site. He never told me that he was still charging me per/hr when its been like 2 weeks. So then now he tells me that I owe him $110. I told him that I didn't know he was charging me by the hr because I thought that he would charge me 10 bucks per hr when the hrs went by, not in total at the end. So now he says he is going to have his attorney contact me. Can his attorney really do anything? All he knows of me is my full name because of my email address. Also, he knows that im under the age of 18.

Even if he could find you and even if he did sue you for $110, he can't collect it EVEN IF you had a written contract. Minors cannot enter into binding contracts. You have to be over 18 to contract. You win on every count for all the reasons the others told you also.

Step back and think about this for a second. Attorney's cost a lot of money. He claims you owe him $110. If he uses an attorney to collect this money from you he'll owe more money to his attorney than he collected. It's probably an idle threat.
ha if you are under the age of 18 there isn't much he can do and there was no contract i presume so i wouldn't worry to much he shouldn't of done business with a minnor
