What is the likelihood of a non-custodial parent receiving summertime visitation?

I recently filed a motion against my ex to get summertime visitation as well as 2 nights a week, every other weekend and 2 weeks of vacation time. What is the likelihood that I will receive all of this? If it is not likely, how much time is likely? I live in NJ.

Answer:
The two nights a week would be very disruptive to the child. Depending on why you do not have visitation, that can be modified. But I doubt that any court would go from zero to almost 50-50. Don't know the age of the child, this also matters in the decision making. You really didn't give enough info for a proper answer.

Depends on what you did to not have any rights when first filed against you.

You should have been nice to your spouce and tried this out of court ... the results could have been much better.

Why not just ask the spouse along with you and the child? Maybe you can work things out ...
