Its been a month since I quit my job at a local Newspaper. How do I get my name removed from this publication?

It's been a little over a month since I have worked for a local weekly entertainment newspaper. I have contacted the owner and the editor on a few occasions and had asked them to remove my name from this publication and replace it with the person who took my position. How would I go about taking action against them since they are using my name and e-mail address and I no longer work there?

Answer:
Contact a lawyer and ask him to write a letter demanding that you be removed. It should be inexpensive.

Have someone call the paper as an attorney, threatening to sue them.
You could try a firmly worded letter advising them that they no longer have the right to use your name in association with the paper. Tell them if they don't correct it, you will be considering legal action. If they don't, take them to small claims court.
Warn them for the last time then/ inform the police /look for the the company that control them and report this matter.
some businesses, set up e-mail sites and then don't change them for years at a time,Case in point, the last place my husband worked which was almost 4 years ago still has a picture of him running one of their machines in their advertising video.
Are people sending you E-mail ? If not it probably won't make much difference one way or the other.
I think you should call your replacement who would be very motivated to get his or her name in the paper. The editor and owner may not care about this matter since they don't care about you, but they may be more motivated to please the new hire. Get the correct spelling of the replacement person's name.

Also the editor and owner appear to be busy with larger issues.
Call the copy editor and ask him/her who has control over the editing of that page. It must be on someone's computer. If that person isn't the copy editor, call that person and give the correct spelling of the new hire and ask when you can expect the change to occur. If possible, stay on the phone while he or she makes the change.

If you can't get anyone to make the change, ask the person who is directly responsible why the change hasn't been made. There probably isn't any motive other than laziness, but if there is, then maybe mail the owner, editor and copy editor a certified letter stating that the change hasn't been made in a reasonable amount of time and if it isn't made in a week, you will consult an attorney.
