I have a friend that is drinking a lot of wine?
She is a dental student and she says she only drinks wine when she is feeling stressed about school...but she drinks a LOT at night...like 4 glasses of wine. She can't wait to get home and have some. I fear for her professional life. Could this cost her her license down the road? Will it cause her to screw up? I don't want that. Do you think that is too much wine?
Answers:
Wine tends to settle you a little but 1 or 2 glasses a night should be the limit. Sounds like your friend is well on her way to an alcohol problem. It will only get worse.
its her life let her live it
Hmmm...I think a glass or two a few nights a week is fine but maybe she should try a cup of tea and a chocolate bar instead.
try to stop it while you can. it might be too late.
I do think 4 glasses at a time is too much. She can hurt somebody like this on the job and then definitely lose her license as well as get sued. She can even go to prison for body harm.
Your friend has a drinking problem.
If she's sober at work-- barring a contract that denies her the right to drink at night that she's signed-- she is safe in her job. If you think her drinking is a danger to others, tell her, and beyond that, organize an intervention. Otherwise, keep your own brother.
And tie up his own keeper.
She's going to have to find some other way to deal with stress, because if she drinks 4 glasses of wine a night it's only a matter of time before she burns out.
