Over 18? going to jail. help!?
i live in Massachusettttss, and i am 15 yrs old dating a 18 year old, is that agaisnt the law, can he go to jail?
or is that only if we have sex?

& what about couples ages 17&18 would that be agaisnt the law also?

dating's not the problem, the sex is.
however, i'd be DAM* careful if I were you.esp being the female end of it.it really sucks and probably not worth it in the long run.if you're not in it too deep, i'd stick with your own age group till you're 18 yourself.
and yes, couples an 18 yo person having sex with a 17 yr old is still sagutory rape (consentual or not-they can still be tried)...some things are arguable in the courts...esp with something like that close of an age (and depending on how close to 18 the 17 yo is).but i'd never want to risk it...you never know if the court will agree with your case or not.
Dating is not illegal. It's having sex. Take it slow, your young, and I doubt he's the one. it's just exciting for you to go out with someone older.
You can go out together and have fun but you cannot have sex. Not at your age.
Your are 15 still minor & he is major so take time , if you are intersted with him for dating than you have hide from the public .
ONLY FOR SEX but the don't ask don't tell law applies. If you do have sex you could use it as a weapon if he ever pisses you off. you'll have him agains the wall
if you have sex with him and your parents find out and they trip he will be going to jail Evan if you don't press charges but your parents file a com plaint with the police and they file a complaint with the D.A. the stat will press charges against him and he will go to prison and forever be know as a sex offender so if i was you i would end it now before you get this boy into trouble
