Have you seen pictures of the American flag displayed upside down below the Mexican flag?
This was a demonstration by Latino kids at Montebello High School in So. Calif. One of the banners read, "Revolution is the Solution". ..I've really tried to sympathize with their circumstances, but now, I am just angry. Don't the kids know that would be the reaction of some people? How dare they disrespect our flag like that!! They lost my support.
Pictures appeared on the front page of five different newspapers and are all over the internet.

The Mexican protesters were asking why the American people don't treat them like Americans.MAYBE it's the ****^ng flag you're holding... MEXICO!

That makes me wonder what they are being taught in school.
They better be careful or they may tick off the wrong person.
They are probably illegal or at least support illegal immigration. What do you expect from a bunch of people that have such a sense of entitlement, like the world owes them something?
theres nothing wrong with hanging the flag up side down in protest. first off.. you people think that any protest is unamerican... go back to history class and then maybe you can appreciate protest. second, there is no law in this country that makes flag desecration illegal (Supreme Court, Texas vs Johnson, 1989). Also the act of hanging the flag upside down is a military signal of distress, its been done by US troops all throughout our countries history.
It's called freedom of speech. The US Supreme Court has ruled that even burning the flag in public as a political statement is perfectly legal. You need to chill out.
What like no one saw this coming? Political correctness is the downfall of our Nation and that's why nothing will be done about this.
I consider this an act of terrorism and treason! The school should go through the pictures and give names to faces so the police can have them arrested. Have them tried by a jury and once convicted lets see how many other school kids will do this again. Make an example of these children!

Displaying an American flag upside-down is only supposed to be done as a distress signal, such as in case of an accident or some other imminent danger. It's like shouting "mayday" over a radio or a telephone, so maybe those clowns should be arrested for reporting a false emergency.
