Is it against the law to send rude Emails to people? They might even be boarder line harassing?

I got an Email & it in I was called a *****, the sender also said that they feel sorry of my spouse & they send there reguards to him for having to be married to me. I'm offended, will the police do anything & can I press charges? We live it Michigan

Wouldn't be easier to just block the email address?


Save the email in case the harassment escalates then block the sender.
It is actually harrasment. If the person continues to do so, you can report them and you may get to press charges.
