Why do women need reservation when she speak about equality..?

i am also having same question since so many years and i had asked the same questions to many of the feminists but they dont have proper answer to the same.
They say hat females are actually equal to men, but they are umiliated and degraded since from ancient times. so its the time to empower the females. and in this transition time, the ,male dominated society need give more opportunity to females to reachequal position.
But I still wonder, why the female are asking Reservation as a matter of right.
i do agree that politics also plays a major role in this issue. and this is not required to address the issue.
It should become a matter of concern to the Society at large not to the political parties.

Equality is fine. Gender jumping is the reason there are
so many single parents.
To make the speech come to reality, reservation is needed.
Without such a reservation,Male dominated society do not permit women to take part equally in political,social and economic activities fearing that when chance is given once, then men can not dominate and keep women as pet animals inside houses for doing menial household works and only as child bearing machines.

Not that politicians spoil the game. In the male dominated society, the women are relegated to the inferior levels of exploitation which require reservations to save them otherwise they are steel in life, deeds and performance.

1)To increase the vote bank
2)To give MP and MLA posts to their wives, sister-in-laws in the name of empowering women, thus having additional income.
