How much do forensic detective get paid a year?
Answer:
well since there is no such job nothing. Do not confuse what you see on TV with the real world. A Police officer is the one who collects the evidence (sometimes secures the evidence), the forensic scientist analysis the evidence using their high background in science to come up with the "how" the crime was committed and the Police detective takes those finds along with other evidence from witnesses and so on come up with a "why" the crime happened, and who did it.
Forensic scientist don't interview suspects, they don't talk to witnesses (except in very rare cases).
They generally will make less than normal scientist in their field, but they also will have better benefits as they are government employees, but the pay will be determined by their city.
