Can a cop tow my vehicle for having bad tabs? it was parked at a county fair.?

Answers:
Well, they towed it didn't they? I guess they can.

Keep your tags up to date. Driving isn't a civil right. You have to obey the laws and pay the taxes. If you can't do that, then ride a bike or take the bus.

Like the post above this one, it is probably an attempt to keep people without insurance off the road. I thank them for that.

Well, how did it get there? Did you carry it on your back? Were you planning on not driving until you walked from the fair to the Dept. of Motor Vehicles?

The car was in a public lot and it was street-unlawful. Presumptively uninsured, too. The police officer was entirely in the right to get the car off the road.
They can in Oregon if it's not parked in your own driveway.
yup..if the tags arent proper...it is in violation
