To deal with the youth, alcohol and kids causing trouble as bored why not separate the bar in nightclubs to a separate room.

So the dancefloor with non alchol bar is open to anyone say over 16. And the actual bar is like upstairs with bouncers guarding it. And say everyone under 18 with perminant marker pen designs on their hand

That way they go clubbing and all the reat of it... but no booze. And the grown ups can drink but no alcohol in the main areas.

In particualr with alternative scens such as goth, metal, psi-trance which operate a look after everyone no gang attiudes culture

I agree. It seems a good idea. but having a 16-17 club and a 18+ club in the same vicinity may not be such a god idea

not sure how that would go over to regulate..minors are getting drinks etc anyways at the bar who's to say they wouldn't be able to get in the "adult" area where the bar is?? happens all the time for clubs that have 21 or over on the rules... so might not be feasible..but ya never know..
When the kids show respect, and `earn` respect, then your idea might, might just work.
But somehow I doubt it ever will.
The problems with youngsters and alcohol nowadays is that the over 18's buy it for them, so I don't think this would work. I do find it a bit strange here in Scotland though that you can't buy alcohol until you are 18 but you can get married at 16.
If you did this where could the parents go to escape from their children....and besides there are adults that would give a 16 or 17 year old drinks anyway for reason other than just to be friendly.By the way you just increased the cost of operating a club by having to have at least three more employees. You'll be old enough soon enough just wait your turn
