Al Gore III pleads guilty to DUI (among other charges) and got a court ordered drug diversion program...?

was justice served, or is this just another case of the elite (Limbaugh, N. Bush, Hilton, Gore III, etc...) getting off easy ?

I was going to agree with you until I read your last line of shear jealousy of those who have money. Sorry kid, grow up and get a better job.

I don't believe Rush ever had a DUI. Gore will be like Lindsey Lohan, he will step on his crank again.
you are right it is just another case of having the best lawyer money can buy.
If this was his first offense, then it is standard to get offered diversion. In most states, including California. He's not getting special treatment. He's getting the same treatment anybody would get if they hired a lawyer, expensive or not. Paris Hilton got offered diversion too but I don't think she finished it, hence part of the reason she got jail time. Her diversion got revoked.
Rich people can afford to hire the good attorneys and rarely spend time in jail like the common folks.

Blame it on our system of justice (or injustice).
