Am I allowed to record a karaoke cd with my voice and post it on the web? Does it violate copyright laws?

karaoke copyright infringement laws

Answers:
It still violates copyright laws because you used a copyrighted version of the music (the one the company recorded). You have to get permission to do that.

Sorry! I know that stinks!

these days, who knows. the music indstry has gotten pretty evil about these things. I would think as long as it was only your voice, and that the originals were not included at all that you would be ok, especialy if you are doing it for free. If you are going to try to sell it, i would consult a professional.
Sing it live all you want, do not put anything on the net that you did not record yourself. Not your music.
Try. MY SPACE

Good Luck!
