I had my license suspended in IL, but am about to recieve my MN drivers license, can i still drive?

I just lost my license in IL, but MN issued me one recently, does this mean i just cannot drive in IL, is my MN license still valid in other states, just not IL?

Answers:
No. You are technically not allowed to drive in any state if you are suspended/revoked in a single one of them. The reason Mn. issued you a license is that the revocation/suspension apparenty has not been entered into the National system for driver's background status checks yet, or you would have only recieved an ID card from Mn. You can double check by calling your local DMV, and asking this same question without giving your name and they can let you know for definite, but I'd bet that you will soon receive a "license is for ID only" letter if your State does that, or the next time you are stopped, you may be cited or arrested for driving without a valid license.

Your Minnesota license is valid everywhere... Usually they check to see if your license has been revoked, it's odd that they would even issue you one...
Way to go. Do not drive In IL.
Only valid license is your state of official residence; it's illegal to have 2 dr's in the first place. If MN is your legal residence, you are still under suspension for your IL infractions.
Yes, but even in IL unless the police run the numbers if you get pulled over then nobody will notice anyway. Police just check to make sure you have a license on you, so you could easily drive in IL with your MN license. (But it would be illegal).
Your licenses is suspended in all states... the state motor vehicles will update each other eventually... it just takes a few weeks or sometimes months.
no you can not because you lied to dmv why use you license supended for in il. did you tell they where suspended if you get caught you will go to jail and really lose everything
Best to check with motor vehicle office beforehand. Nephew lost license in NJ and wasn't allowed to drive in Pennsylvania after he moved there. If you owe for fines, courts or anything outstanding, you might have to wait til those are paid in full before resuming driving.
i would be very careful == did you have to maybe fake a little to get the mn license. if so you might really have an invalid license even in mn. if it was me i would do as little driving as possible in case you had an accident and somehow the computers decided on that day to talk to each other.
