When a person is released from prison is he given any money to go home?

The convicts earn wages, far below minimum wage, for those jobs, but they do earn money. That money can be used for phone calls, items from the commissary, or to pay bills. Once they are released, the convicts are given the balance of their accounts, and can use that money to go home.
