How do I get a fourth degree assault charge dropped?
I got a fourth degree assault charge and a public intoxication charge. The person I was fighting with hit me with a very large stick. how can I get the assault charge dropped?

You can't. The person who you assaulted and pressed the charges is the only one who can drop them, unless you prove to the court that the charges are baseless and get the court to drop it. If you want to try to do that, contact the prosecutor or the DA (or the arresting officer who was there) and see when the court date is or who is in charge of the case, then speak directly with the prosecutor or plead your case in court.

as for PI that might not get dropped only the Police can charge you with that
