Chapter 7 Bankrupcy question...?
My crooked father has filed Chapter 7 Banrupcy and has named the Department of Revenue who is after him for child suppurt he never paid my mother, my mother for a contract she holds stating he has to pay he $100 a month for child support but if he does not after 5 years she can go after him (sue), as well as all of his grants and student loans he has for going to college. This man is approaching 60 and still going to school. SAD! Started when he was 52...due to go to law school next year. He is what the local attorneys are calling a ruthless professional student. Can he actually name these things in this bankrupcy and get away with it?? I mean this is just ridiculous! How can he just do away with Government money and Child Support? I know he may just be trying to buy time...I mena after all if any creditor goes after him during the bankrupcy then they are subject to a legal suit...so his paperwork states. By the way, he is goign pro-se in this as he always does. Any input?

I know for fact he has to pay student loans and taxes but I do not know about Child Support. Talk to a lawyer in most cases they give you a free consultation. I am so sorry for what you are going through, if I was you I would stay away from him you do not need anyone like that in your life.
Stay positive focus on the good, your studies, your mother, your life, the little things that make everything worth while.
I know you can't discharge student loans or taxes owed but don't know about Child Support. I'd check with the same attorneys who called him a ruthless professional student.
