What's the difference between thieves and crooks?

Answers:
Crook is an abbreviated form of crooked; meaning not straight, or dishonest. A Thief is one who commits theft; being the misappropriation of property; stealing; burglary, robbery, defalcation, shoplifting and some forms of fraud are thievery.
