My boyfriend has a felony and is a hunter. He is not supposed to have a gun in the house. Well a long story?
short he had a gun and he moved. from his aunts to another house to be with me. Well his aunt got mad and ended up calling the cops. Well the gun is in her name but he paid for it. The only reason that it is in her name is because he couldn't actually get a gun and he isn't supposed to have a gun. Well they decided to get him for theft. The cop took the gun and left. My boyfriend is not sure if he will now have to go to court or not. However she does drugs and he's wondering should he turn her in now that she wants to play a game?

This is not about "theft". This is about "possession". Felons in the possesion of a firearm go back to prison. For quite a while.
So what you're trying to say is your boyfriend is a felon with a gun and you want to turn his aunt in by "hear say"?

Your BF is a looser he should be locked up, He knew the rules and he got caught not his aunts fault that he is a convicted felon he knew the possibility was there I am quite sure there much more to this trailer park drama.
Let me see if I've got this straight. Your boyfriend has a criminal record and a gun, and he lives with his aunt in a house where there are drugs. He wishes to inform the authorities on a relative who provides him with a place to stay, for revenge in some kind of a juvenile game.

Sound like you need to get the hell out of there. You are just going to get all caught up in that crap. Hell, if I was your dad I would dragged you out of the hell hole of a world.
