Should it be legal for Hillary Clinton to be president?
She said herself when Bill was in office, "we are the president" Does anyone think that it shouldnt be allowed for a couple to be president/first lady and then turn around and become the opposite? To me it seems like electing the same president over. Im just wondering other peoples thoughts.
I am not asking personal opinions on hillary.

Just because she said "We are the president" doesn't mean that she was actually the president, obviously. I suspect that if she is elected we will actually see a somewhat different administration than we saw under Bill Clinton. In fact, if she is elected, I wouldn't be terribly surprised if Bill wasn't even living at the White House most of the time.
By our Constitution, it already is legal whether I agree with her politics or not.
It should be legal for her to be president. No matter what she said, "We" weren't president - Bill Clinton was president. She was there only because she married him. If she wins the election next year, she can legally become president.

Of course it should be legal. It was Bill Clinton's decision whether or not he wanted to take Hillary's advice while he was President. Just like it will be Hillary's choice whether or not she wants to take advice from hubby Bill. My guess is that Bill will be off doing whatever, and Hillary will be working hard and making her own decisions.
i personally don't think its electing the same president over again. its a different person and DIFFERENT sex, so they don't think the same. and its good to switch politicians, i mean 8 years in presidency is enough thank you...

There is no law against it and there shouldn't be.

Yes, marriage doesn't mean that you are surgically attached and become 'one person'.

I'm not sure if you don't understand what marriage is or what elections are, or what a legal term is, Bill cheated, she didn't, and our country was in pig heaven for those years despite the constant persecution of the Clintons with all manner of mud being slung, and now resurrected and slung again.
I would love to see another eight years as good as the years under Clinton were, but Hillary has a different and a very difficult time ahead of her.
Are you married or with a significant other? If you are does that make you one in the same person? I would be willing to guess that you still have your own thoughts and it probably causes some fights when you discuss the differences. That would make you a separate person with separate thoughts. So we wouldn't be reelecting Bill. If she wins mind you.
And of course, if she WERE to be elected, Bill would be...

If she gets elected president then I am outta here. She would be worse than the dumbf*ck we have in there now. For once we should have a guy who is a normal american. No offense to those people who support her but she isnt the lasting impression you want when you think of the first woman President...
