Should the food & drug admin.[F.D.A.regulate cigarettes.?

a commite is deciding this. It dosen't appear that the fda can regulate food or drugs. spinich,greenonions,fish, toothpaste & etc.

Cigarettes are not a drug, they have a drug in them but they aren't a drug. If they were to start regulating them, I'd start growing my own tobacco and say to hell with the FDA. I'm about ready to do that already. If the price goes up much more, I will start growing my own tobacco and there's nothing they can do about it.
