Traffic ticket question for Los Angeles...?

ok, 2 questions...

1st: if your ticket is in GC collections how can you schedule a court date to see the judge??

- A few yrs ago i had a ticket 2 yrs past due, somehow i got a court date, so it's possible i just cant remember how.

2nd:(for a diff. citation) the judge gave me a choice between 8 hr & 12 hr traffic school, I choose 12hr. How can i see the judge again to change it to 8hr. ?

-for some reason i thought the 12 hr. takes off an extra point so i choose it. I found out that it doesnt help anymore then 8 hr.


oh and ive searched the website...
& called the line but cant get through to a person...
