Is there a statute of limitations for an auto accident.?

I was involved in an accident in a company vehicle. The other party has since sued my company's insurance and I guess have settled or something. Is there a statute of limitations on the other party suing me civilly?

Answers:
depending upon the state the term would either be 18 or 24 months.

Yes. There are time limits on both civil and criminal actions and either or both might apply.
Majority of States in America has a 2 year statue of limitation for civil lawsuits. You can verify that by going on a Government website or contacting a legal aid service in your area.
You should have been sued in the same suit as your company. If they have filed a suit and it has been dismissed by settlement, then you are free and clear. That is primarily because they would have to had included you in the suit with the company. If they have not filed suit, you are still open for suit for a period of whatever the personal injury statute of limitations is in your state. That can range from two to four years.
