How do u check if a $100 bill is real or fake?

i'm gonna have $3 K in one hour and I don't have time to go buy the marker to check the bills, She is a Diplomat working for an embassy here, should I trust the documents and make a copy?any advice?

Have someone go get the marker to check the bills for you. You can't be too careful.

Look for correct watermark and imbedded strip. Some fakes fool the marker pen.
hold it in the air and look for a watermark.
take them to a bank to verify.
