Unfortunately, we have Leftist politicans who try to game the Constitution every single day.
An example of an unjust law is the infamous Lautenberg Amendment which forever bars 2nd Amendment freedoms from anyone who has ever been convicted of a misdemeanor or higher family violence offence.
This unjust law serves two purposes: 1) it advances unconstitutional gun control, and 2) it associates "wife beating" with gun owners, when previously there has been no compelling correlation between the two.
Oh, and it's an ex post facto law, to boot.
