Do you think the judges of the supreme court should be voted on by the people or picked by the president?

Answers:
What does it matter what any of you think? It is in the Constitution. If you can get 75% of the states to vote to change it, you can change the Constitution.

no, leave it for the most part alone. I do recommend the following:
55 years old to get the job
mandatory retirement at 65
In my opinion, I believe they should be elected. Otherwise, they may bend to the will of the President, which compromises their outlined ability to keep the other branches of government in check.
I think that the Supreme Court Justices should be appointed by the president and then voted for by Congress but not for life, their should be limited terms.

Or have Congress approve of a panel judges that the people can vote for, but not lifetime positions.
Interesting. I do have problems with someone being put in such a position of power for life.

What if the people don't like the way they turn out after they've been in that position for awhile?

I'd like the people to have the choice. They, the judges, should have to stand up for reappointment after so many years on the bench.

Their name should be put on ballot. Let the people keep the power.
