Why haven't Reverend Jackson and Sharpton Apologized to the Duke Lacrosse team?
I'm gonna keep this short and sweet. When the Duke lacrosse team were being persecuted by the media, their own professors, and the "Honorable" Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. Now I remember both of these jerks calling for these men to basically be crucified. Now I know that Imus screwed up really bad with his comments about the Rutgers B-Ball team, but he at least had the BALLS to apologize. I don't see either of these 2 hypocrites on national tv apologizing. I think they should receive the same treatment as Imus too. They should be removed from their positions and disgraced. I hate when people jump to conclusions. Wait until the system works itself out. I think we need to do that with Michael Vick too. I think the prosecutors are running with it a little harder since there is a celebrity to create a case with. For the record, I think Vick will be acquitted of the charges and try to rebuild his name.

Whatcha talking bout Willis?
Neither Al nor Jessie will apologize, dey done been harmed by all dees whit folk puttin down the black folk, weeze need to pologize to dem fo making racist remarks.
Translated, they (Jessie and Al) feel like all whites are responsible for everything that has gone against the black people. Certainly if we go back to the time of slavery they are right, but as far as I know there is not one single former slave owner left alive. The blacks have been subject to racism and it exists today, but dammit, they should be man enough to stand up and admit that they made a mistake and apologize to the Duke players.
By the way, the whole Don Imus deal, Al had ulterior motives on that one. Al also has a talk show and it was not doing as good as Imus' so he took the shot at Imus to eliminate the competition.
Why would a couple of shakedown artists apologise. They are out looking for someone else to shakedown.
Apologize?? There is no extortion money to be mad in making apologies.
And I agree; why the rush to condemn Vick. I do not know him but I am pretty sure he is a real person who is entitled to the presumption of innocence.
Sharpton and Jackson are buffoons who are only prominent because the mainstream media keeps giving them attention they don't deserve. There are a lot of brilliant, fair minded black thinkers who write columns and books who should be given air time to bring some intelligent thought to these issues, but they are ignored by the same media.
rascism is a one way street. a white can't make one harmless off color remark. a black can destroy lives with lies and must people think the white was the worse offender. it's all about weakening the white race by the jewish press. it's all in the "protocals"
The Lacrosse players are white right? Jackson and Sharpton need to keep thier image as the voice of black victims everywhere. Someday young blacks may see they have a great opportunity in this country. Jessie and Al will be no longer needed.
Because they are like me, they do not believe that the lacrosse team is innocent. Their gender and race helped them. What if it had been minorities males and a white stripper? Would you be so understanding then?
Because professional racists don't apologize for anything. The only thing those two idiots care about is inserting their names into every headline, and have done nothing to actually help blacks anywhere.
Because the social system of america is screwed up and blacks still feel like they deserve special treatment while others get the short end. Sharpton and Jackson are racist and have the backing of a liberal jewish media and are able to live a double standard when it comes to their so called "justice"
Because hell has et to freeze over
Because many blacks feel no apology is warranted, so why should they (Jackson&Sharpton). Both spoke out to keep themselves in the limelight of the moment. Nothing more. If you have to worry about it. Your giving both men way too much credit.
