There trying to pass a law in PA saying no smoking in the work place I know they've passed it in other states
I just think it a bunch of Bull Sh*t I work in a factory where there are many worse chemicals in the air and noone even works close to me it's a well ventalated are and there's never been a problem with second hand smoke. Why does the goverment try to control every aspect of are lives, Also alcohol is legal and marijauana is illegal while booze has killed millions of people and has caused all kind of problems for people but pot has actual health benifits and hasn't killed anyone. If you can explain all this to me.
Answer:
I totally agree with you. But the Smokers will not come together and protest. Strange you can buy then every ten feet but don't light one one. It is because the Government wants to continue getting $10 Billion dollars a year in taxes,$2 Billion paid out in insurance so there is an $8 Billion profit. We smoker just laid down as sheep and let the laws be passed.
Second hand smoke has been proven not as bad as exhaust fumes and other chemicals in the air.
Buy them but dont smoke them.
I don't think they allow you to booze up and get high at work either.
well their are things like lung cancer heart failure second hand smoke which are all very serious things and the government is trying to protect us and our inviorment by doing that.
I don't know all about why alcohol is isn't illegal (though I'm glad it isn't) but I live in a city where there is no smoking in public buildings besides bars and it's the best thing our town has ever decided on. Maybe you dont notice a problem with smoke but others might and if you work around dangerous chemicals I would be afraid of a fire starting when people lit their cigarettes. Basically smoking is stupid and people who are smart and don't smoke shouldn't have to deal with the dumb people who do.
It's an easy target. It would serve us better for leaders to demand cleaner air--for instance take a look at the refineries and all the goo released into the air, protecting the borders and high gas cost. It's easier to go after smaller matters first.
