Can one person sell a car if it is listed as and/or on the title?

if my car is listed in my name and live in boyfriends name with and/or in between our names. Can one or the other change the title into just one name or does it require both of our signatures to do that?

Answers:
If the title lists "Jodi J and/or Boyfriend" as the owner, a signature is required from only 1 person to sell it.

Both signatures are required only if the title lists "Jodi J and Boyfriend" as the owners.

The key is the 'or' in the title. With that, either one of you has free reign to sell the vehicle.

requires both parties listed to sign
If it says "or" then only one signature is required.
Yes you can (from a California Title point of view).
sactoking is correct. The key word her is OR. It would not hurt to check with the DMV of your state to be certain. The word OR on the title usually means either of you can sell the car.
