Work with them, send aid to help farm. To some in the government, these people are just another few lives in the fight for survival. But we really should help. Maybe find out why they are commiting suicide and reverse the problem.

Shoot them. Denies them the opportunity.
Frankly, I am a firm believer that it is the God given right for all human beings to decide for themselves when its time to check out. If they want to off themselves, why bother to stop them? India is highly overpopulated with living conditions in some areas that I would not wish on my worst enemy (trust me, I've been there). Frankly, suicide would seem preferably to most sane people when though of as an alternative to such abhorrent living conditions.
