Can you use tape evidence of committing the crime of fraud,and identity theft be used in small claims court ?

Can a judge or jury hear a tape recording admitting to a crime in small claims court in Texas?

If the claim amount is under their threshold, sure why not! it is least likely to be suppressed, since they're no attourney's involved, check your state law, in some states recorded testimony is not allowed without the subject being recorded knowing if he or she is being recorded.

Probably. Small claims court is a joke. It's a poor excuse for due process.
A witness would be better as in some states they do not allow tape recordings.
