Is there an email scam that sends money via money order, hundreds of dollars?

Answers:
yes, a lot of them,,,,, i got caught in one of them,,,, i almost lost a lot of money..

Yes, thats an old one. Mark the email as spam.
yup!!
Yes. Just google it!
There a many of them. For instance, lets say you are selling something. They send you a money order for more than the price you agreed on, they ask for change. You give change, go deposit the m.o. and the they get the change and the item. You find out the m.o. is no go.

For more info, go to the Federal Trade Commision website (ftc.gov). They have a comprehensive section on scams.
Hundreds of them, dating back about 12 years.
Sorry, but you didn't win the British Lotto, Or to accept checks from another country for fun and profit.
You negotiate a stolen or bogus money order, keep your commission, wire the rest to the person.
2 weeks later the money order comes up phony, and yo are held liable for the ENTIRE amount of the Original Money order.
Thats how it works.
How much where you supposed to send them first to get them to send the money order back your way? Maybe the one you are looking at is slightly different than that, but always remember, if it sounds too easy or too good to be true, it probably is.
