If I wanted to import a child's toy gun, would it get seized?
It's an odd thing to import, I know.
I'm actually making a project, a costume based on a fictional character (I'm a UK cosplayer) which involves me having a customized prop gun/cannon which I'm making from PVC piping only I really need a toy gun to base it on.
The company is based in the US, and since they're not familiar with our delivery laws (and neither am I for that matter) they said that delivery was not guaranteed and that no refunds would be available due to this.
Though I realised, with all the trouble we've had what with terrorism and kids running riot with what are just realistic toys, would they not allow my parcel to be delivered or not?
I'd really appreciate any help with this :) Thank you!

It really depends on your company. I honestly dont think that it should be a problem but hey who knows these days.
If you put it in the suitcase you may get away with as security is really crap.
