Can you ride a quad bike on any fields or is this against the law ?
Answers:
no you cant...you need permission from the landowner.
its against the law cos you cant get insurance X
only if you have the OK from the owner of the field there are clubs that have now started up to ride small bikes ect
If the land is not labeled as open for that or you do not have permission, you are trespassing, whether or not the land is posted. You WILL get it posted so others will have no chance to use it that way.
No way, you need the landowner's permission.
Its against the law without the landowners permission
if you are caught you might well be fined and have the bike
impounded
In law, a Quad bike is classed as a road vehicle and must be taxed, mot'd and you must hold a licence to drive it. If you ride it off road, you can only ride it on fields only with the owneres permission. If you don't and you are caught, your Quad bike can be confiscated.
You will need the landowner's permission. Fields are not public property.
