Are there any conditions under which a minor child can live with a registered sex offender in South Carolina?
Answers:
You should report it, but not otherwise be involved personally. Do not try to investigate it yourself or anything.
I think if it's their actual child it may be possible
I hope not.
if there is such a law, it should be repealed immediately.
it is well known that the majority of these perverts cannot change or help themselves and to put a child, even if it is there own, in jeopardy is inexcusable.
You should report it immediately. Tell child protective services about what you found out and tell them that you were not positive if it was right for them to live with him or not and you thought that they might want to know about it.
Why don't you mind your own business? If his family knows, then why are you butting in?
well, i certainly would call someone about it. does it not list a phone number to call? i hate to pass judgement on others, and there are so many reasons for someone to be a registered sex offender, that may suprisingly not have to do with harming children or such...
then again, you said his FAMILY didn't want to talk about it. does that mean that his children are aware and ok with the situation that he is watching them??
honestly, i would call someone. the police or his parole officer.
