Should Elizabeth Edwards get a mind of her own or should she just keep repeating her husband's positions?
Isn't everone tired of listening to her parroting John's postions? Seems she's a very poor example for the women of the world.

I actually think she has too much of a "mind of her own".I do not want the spouse, (husband or wife) of the person running our nation, to have too much input. We elect the person, not his/her family. The spouse sometimes has more influence than the vice president, what is wrong with that picture? Everything. The family thing should be just that, a family matter, concerning family issues..the spousal influence in the White House should stop when the doors of the Oval office close!

Except she is not campaigning for herself (or the other woman of the world) she is campaigning for him. As such she should state his positions. In this case, hers don't matter, she is not the candidate.

When you are campaigning for someone for any office-you are supposed to be 100% behind their positions. It is as it should be-she supports his positions so when she speaks it should be as if it is him speaking.
