Could I get sued if this happend?

If I let my girlfriend take over payments on a car in my name, then she gets in an accident and the other party wants to sue, could I possibly be sued? Even if she is on my insurance?

Answers:
yes, but that's what insurance is for. Iif you are insured the insurance will cover/ handle it (depending on your coverage) and you would need to pay your deductible (and what ever amount is over the ins coverage possibly, but hat would have to be a very bad accident or very low coverage). As long as your name is on the car they can go after you and/or her if shes driving it

Yes as long as the car is in your name. You need to transfer the title.
It is in your name...period.
1- your girlfriend is paying a car in your name you still the
legal owner

2- she is on your insurance.

3-she wreck the car , they have to call you because is your
policy. then to avoid any more premiums , tell her to get
her own insurance
