Can anyone give me an example of employment protection provided by IL, but not from a federal perspective?

The state of Illinois has a law called VESSA. It stands for VICTIMS ECONOMIC SECURITY AND SAFETY ACT. It basically protects employment for people being threatened with violence that have to miss work.


unions are allowed in IL which is a form of non goverment employment protection.
