Is it legal in Washington State to use a pillow or other object as a "booster" while driving?

Do you mean for yourself while YOU are driving? I don't think there are any laws against that.

OMG! That is soooooo unsafe! Go to your nearest Goodwill and get a car seat or booster seat. There is no excuse for not taking precautions for child safety.
