Abortion in texas?

i have heard that it has become illegal to have abortions in certain states. what states have made it illegal and has it become illegal in texas too?

Answers:
No state can pass a law making abortion itself illegal. Some states (and Texas is one) have tried passing laws that make it more difficult for a woman to get an abortion. These laws have included "Paternal Consent" laws (the father of the fetus must consent) and "Parental Consent" laws (requiring the parents of a minor to consent to the procedure). Other states have tried requiring a waiting period before an abortion can be performed. The Supreme Court has found most of these laws to be unconstitutional.

Under the Supreme Court ruling Roe v. Wade, a state cannot ban abortions outright. However, some states are more strict than others, and ban it after a certain month or something like that. Many states also have mandatory counseling, waiting periods, etc. All of these restrictions are perfectly constitutional. But no, abortion cannot be banned outright.
There are always political and social disputes over illegalizing abortion. Some state legislatures, including some in Texas, might be pushing to make abortion unlawful in their state, but right now any woman of any age can have an abortion in any state. No questions asked.

Maybe one day it will be illegal to have an abortion. But everyone who needs one will go down to Mexico to get one, so there's more to it than just the ethical question that do we as humans have the right to take another life. So I don't know how soon it will come illegal in any state, if it ever does.

There was a very famous and needless to say controversial case called Roe vs. Wade, which prohibits any state from illegalizing abortion since the government sees it as a constitutional right for a woman to have an abortion. So the outcome of that case would have to go back to court and changed around. But until that actually happens, you can have abortion in any state.
Abortion is murder, and it should be illegal everywhere! You people speak of it like throwing out the trash...

IT IS MURDER!
