Will the victims of the Minnesota bridge collapse receive compensation for their loss?
Will they receive reimbursement for their loss?
Answers:
of course, suits are being started already, i think they are in the process of determining who all to include in it.
all who participated, directly or indirectly should be included.
I hope so,God bless them.
Of course, they do deserve some direct governmental assistance though insurance will or should indeed take care of it!
They'll file a class action law suit is my guess.
Insurance will pay then and I am sure there will be a settlement from the county or city that owns the bridge.
i don't think so. they may get like a public speach about how srry everyone is, but that may be it.
I would think so, wrongful death/negligence comes to mind. I hope the city does not have a clause that excludes them from such damages.
"For example, in Chicago 13 people died because a porch collapsed in 2003. The city building inspectors knew the porch was unsafe but did not issue citations or mandate repairs.
The 1st District Appellate Court in Chicago decided that even if the allegations were true, the city has special legal immunities that protect it from such lawsuits."
I took this info straight out the newspaper of last week. I think it's a shame.
