Recieved misconduct letter from unemployment?
I live in NJ, and i got fired for "things are not working out", i did not recieve discharge papers, that was all that i was told. And the boss even said i can use her as a reference. I filed for unemployment, and recieved papers saying i got fired for possible misconduct. But there is absolutely NO misconduct that i've done, they are just doing that so they don't have to pay out. What should i do?

Appeal!~!
That letter should contain instructions for contesting their denial of benefits, so call the number or contact whomever wrote that letter and tell them what happened. It's on your ex-boss to prove there was misconduct, it's not your responsibility to prove there wasn't.
you should appeal, I think you would win an appeal because your boss didn't give you any prior notice that things were 'not working out' when you should have been warned if you were doing something wrong. File an appeal, you will have a hearing over the phone, they ask you what happened, what did you do to get fired, you say nothing, no warnings, written or verbal just, came to work and got fired, you get unemployment while you look for a job.
Callyour former employer and see what they said. Then file an appeal. This happened to me.
Somone miistook "Insufficient" for ""insubordinate."""
One phone call took care of it.
bad
I have known employers to tell the fired person that it just isn't working out just so that they can get the person out of the job site without argument or violence, when the real reason for the firing was something else. Still, you can appeal and use the boss's statement as evidence of the reason you were fired.
