Please help my cousin needs help .. ? Please Read...?
My cousins mom came home yesterday and said she is calling immigration on her boyfriend whose 18 , because he's not legal and she's pregnant by him ... Her mom also kicked her out and told her she's calling an attorneys office and is gonna have her unborn child taken away... Please help with both of those problems ... Any Suggestions on how to help my cousin ???? She really needs my help ... The baby is due on November 24... My cousin is good person ... She would NEVER do anything to harm that baby or herself

Give it some time. Mom will probably come around. In the meantime she should live with friends or relatives.
your cousin is 18 so her mom cant legally do anything against her will. the baby's in your cousin's hand. as far as the boyfriend goes, she can report him, mostlikely nothing will happen since INS is too busy tracking down illegals who are criminals.

She is 18 and an adult. Nobody can do anything to her legally if she has not committed a crime. Her mom doesnt know what she is talking about and is blowing smoke up her rear.
She needs to get out of her home and find a place to live on her own. Or stay with a friend or realitive until she can afford a place of her own.
first off all your cousin has to do at this point is marry the father and he cant be deported.noone can take away anyones unborn baby unless the court and they have to prove there is neglect..i would tell your cousin first off to relax..this much stress this late in her pregnancy is not good...for right now your cousin needs a safe place to live and as much support as she can get..her mom will come around with time i am sure but right now she has to keep that baby first on her priority list.
Well, I assume your cousin is under 18, so her mother would certainly have the right to call not only immigration if he's illegal, but the police for statutory rape, if that applies in your state regarding their ages.
That being said, there needs to be more proof of neglect, inability to raise a child, etc., than just the fact that your cousin is underage and unwed. The state has enough children in its care that are from seriously abusive and broken homes, and they need more than the word of an angry mother to take away someone's child.
Your cousin should call Legal Aid in your area and find out what the local laws are and get some help.
~ Since she's 19, her mother can't take the kid away unless they prove serious neglect or abuse in court -- which they certainly can't do before he's born. I would still get a lawyer, though.

tell your cousin to move to another state with her boyfriend.. not joking.. and tell her not to tell her mom where shes going but then when the mom really wants her daughter back shes gonna call her phone and beg..
