Answers:
It depends on the laws of your state.

In some states, a conviction (including paying a fine which is a guilty plea) carries an automatic statutory penalty of loss of license.

It is possible, but we don't have enough information.

For example, some states now have a "provisional" license that indicates that you cannot get MIP without losing your license. Also, it depends on why you got the suspension -- is it because of the MIP or is it something else entirely.

You can talk to an attorney, but first, read the letter carefully. Do a search on anything you don't understand, and learn your legal rights with regard to your license. It is silly to spend money on an attorney if there is no chance of getting anything out of it. You can save yourself a lot of money that way.
A lawyer can only do so much. To be blunt, it sounds like you've made a lot of really dumb mistakes.

Call up a lawyer's office and ask if they do a free consultation to see if your case is worth it. Be prepared, lawyers aren't cheap.
