PLEASE help...! in regards to LAW and HARRASSMENT...!!?
If i feel that i could be a victim of violence, harrassment, etc, and if i inform certain authorities and they dont listen to my request, can they be held liable?
Basically i live in the UK, and i am being threatened by certain people from abroad, i have written of to the Embassy(india) informing them of this so they do not grant those people Visas incase they harm in an anyway. If they do grant there Visas, and they do enter the UK, and i am harmed in any way, can the Embassy be held liable? does anyone know of any websites that i can get this information from in regards to liabilty?

Absolutely, if you have voiced your discomfort with the situation and they refuse to act upon your request, they are liable if anything happens to you as a result of their ignorance. You just need to prove that you voiced your discomfort, so if anything does happen, you have a case against them.
You can tell them that you feel your life is in danger by some people who are potentially going to get into your country and they can patrol where you live to make sure there is no suspicious activity etc but as far as telling someone they cant get a visa because of someone saying they dont like them it wont happen.
